1. Suitcase
The most popular alternative to the traditional coffee table is the suitcase. The reason is simple: it is beautiful and convenient if you have a small apartment since you can organize additional storage space inside. Real vintage models look especially good, which are easy to find in summer cottages, mezzanines of older generation apartments, or flea markets. Another useful idea: instead of one large suitcase, you can take two compact ones and put them on top of each other.
2. Ottoman
Poufs are good for several reasons: firstly, the absence of sharp corners makes them safe for restless children, and secondly, they are easy to move and remove if necessary. And if you have a lot of guests at your home, an additional seat is immediately at hand.
