Spring symbolizes rebirth in many facets of our life, and our homes should reflect this. It’s time to throw open the windows and let the sunlight and fresh air in, kicking winter out the door. Here are several easy and inexpensive ways to welcome spring into our homes.
Clean The Windows
The dazzling crystals will make the rooms appear larger and brighter. Buy some spring plants and place them throughout the home.
Match the color scheme of the room to the flower hue. You don’t have to match the colors; just pick one that goes well with them.
Clear The Rooms
Remove the majority of the artwork and accessories from the space, leaving only a few large, plain items. It helps to cleanse the room and give it a new feel.
Purchase some attractive colored glass artefacts from a store and arrange them in a sunny location. We can also fill clear glass containers with colored water to fit the room’s décor.
Paint
Instead of painting the entire space, use a stencil to add floral and nature-inspired themes for a fraction of the cost. The painted areas can always be covered with paint later, in the autumn.
The Entrance
When giving the house a spring feel, you should also pay attention to the entrance area. Place a spring flower planter on the porch, paint the entryway a bright, spring color, and hang a handcrafted wreath or flower basket on the front door.
To add brightness and freshness to a room, use a touch of white. Vases, bedspreads, and drapes in white…. Try to paint the central (and most prominent) wall in a lighter shade than the rest of the room. It will bring a sense of lightness to the space without substantially altering the overall design.
Fabrics
Cover the cushions with floral or light-colored covers, and save the darker colors for the fall and winter. Cushion covers are simple to make; we can buy the fabric and make them ourselves. Replace heavy drapes with lighter fabrics that allow more light in.
